Testimonials

Mr. BC (Marubeni Corp.)
Dear Endo san:
I just wanted to drop you a letter to express my gratitude to you and your staff for all your efforts on my behalf. All your help was highly appreciated.
You and your highly regarded staff have prepared me extremely well for my assignment here in Tokyo. From the time I boarded the Japan Airlines flight for Narita until now, I have been grateful for the language and cultural learning which I gained at IBEC. I have found that although most Japanese have learned some English, it is still essential to speak at least the foundation of Japanese. Therefore, the Japanese that I learned at IBEC was very much appreciated.
IBEC was able to provide me with the highest quality teachers, the highest quality learning materials, and a “tailored” learning program. These aspects of the school were essential in my learning of Japanese.
Although I am still taking classes here in Tokyo, I really miss you and your staff. Thanks again for everything.”
Very Truly Yours,

Ms. JP (CoMed Communications)
Dear Endo san:
I am writing to thank you for your help in tutoring us in some Japanese language and protocol. The international meeting for which we needed this instruction was held last week and was a rousing success, from all indicators.
The language instruction was exactly right in both its use and pronunciation. Although I had only memorized a dozen or so basic phrases and sentences, it was more than enough to accomplish the purpose of making our distinguished Japanese researcher physician guests feel at ease, and feel as though we had at least made an effort.
The first opportunity to use the language phrases was with the general chairman of the Japanese delegation of physicians, a man of very high rank in Japan. In addition to the greetings, the welcome to Cancun, and my introduction (name), I was able to use “sumimasen sensee” and “doozo” appropriately, thanks to you and Tsuchihashi-sensee. At that point, Miyamoto-sensee, the chairman, asked me in English, “How do you learn such good Japanese?” I told him that although for only a short 8 hour period, I had excellent teachers. Throughout the weekend, as I remembered and was able to use different Japanese phrases, members of the Japanese delegation (including the chairman) would smile broadly and applaud. Their kind remarks included “Your pronunciation is as if you were a native.”
The protocol instruction was also extremely valuable, and enabled me to do things like arrange appropriate table seating plans for the banquet. All in all, I would highly recommend your program and your company to anyone seeking to do business with Japanese clients.
Until the next “challenge,”
Sincerely,

Mr. MC, Chairman (Nomura Securities International, inc.)
Dear Mr. Endo:
O Tegami Arigato. I have enjoyed using the Repeater and Natural Japanese program you presented in my office. While I have not mastered the language, I have picked up a dozen or so expressions which I am becoming comfortable using. While I enjoy the experience of learning, I am afraid it will be many years before I am conversant — which is no reflection on your system but on my schedule and ability.
Again, thanks for your letter and I will let you know how my Japanese progresses.
Sincerely,

BACK
